A reader suggested that we do the similar crowd sourcing technique that we did for my laundry conundrum. What a great idea! I think we manage groceries in a small kitchen pretty well but i’m sure I will learn alot from all of you! Let me start by sharing how we do it and hopefully we can all help each other.

I shared about it in my previous posts HERE, HERE , and HERE and have been really happy to see that others have been trying it out. I received notes about using the same process to save postcards and love notes between partners (awe!) or documenting a grandma’s handmade quilts for her (tears!). I love how creative you all have gotten with photo-documenting and printing these magazines.

Everything was repairable but it did feel like a flurry of failures that needed our attention beyond normal life responsibilities. All of these repairs took time and money. And all I could think is how do I simplify my life so I’m not spending time maintaining and repairing things?! But maybe the more constructive thought is, how do I fill my life with fewer things that I don’t mind maintaining and repairing?
