With October just ended, thoughts are slowly turning to the holiday season. I’ve never really bought the kids Holiday outfits. It helps that our extended families are pretty casual about get togethers. But it also helps to have a couple of good pieces that can be worn all the time but easily dressed up. Sharing more details of my booth for IKEA for Små(ll) for last weekend’s Vancouver Home Show. The walls of the living room ended up being smaller than the 10’ x 10’ that I expected, so I was happy I had gone with my instincts and opted for less furniture than more.

I had the opportunity to put together a small apartment (well, 3 rooms of it) for the Vancouver Fall Home Show this past weekend. The project was the mastermind of Tyson, the Home Show Manager and his intense belief that I could do it. Along with Ikea’s encouragement, I found myself staying up late nights and working on the weekends to put together these rooms in 3 short weeks!
