Oh gosh I don’t know if i’ve ever let 2 months pass without a blog post but here we are. I’ve had thoughts swirling around in my head just trying to find the time to get them out. I wanted to share some of the themes that come up again and again during our small space chats. Mood, ambient and focused lighting in a small space can make a big difference in making a space cozy, warm and multi-functional. But sparing shelf space or floor space for an additional table or floor lamp can be a challenge so I love to suggest a wall sconce.

You Should Give the Bigger Bedroom to the Kids, Hear Me Out

This is a piece of advice I stand by for small space families. It’s something I recommend either when siblings start sharing a room or when they reach an age where they start to play more independently. Consider giving the larger bedroom to the kids. They will use the space better than you can.
