Useful and Beautiful

I have an ongoing list of things I would like to upgrade in our space.  Among them are a broom, laundry baskets, towels and a soap dispenser, to list a few.  I do it slowly for budget reasons and because I think a home is always changing and adapting along with your taste.

I try to live by the rule I have mentioned before, “do not have anything in your home you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful” (William Morris).  So I was happy when I found this soap dispenser (or rather a friend recommended it) from The Soap Dispensery on our street.  It is much more beautiful than the plastic drugstore bottles I’ve used to date.  And The Soap Dispensery has a wonderful program to refill your containers with the products you already love for a lower cost.  I hope to take advantage of this!
