The New Diaper Bag

We’ve recently made the switch from our trusty diaper bag to a backpack.  And I wish we had done this sooner.  For one, Trevor seems much more willing to carry a backpack than a diaper bag.  Secondly, now that we don’t need to carry bottles upright there are no good reasons to use a diaper bag.  Our Herschel Supply backpack hangs simply off the back of the stroller and is easier on our backs when toting it around town.  

I decided to buy the backpack for biking with Theo alone.  It came from the realization I wasn’t always going to bike with Trevor and couldn’t make him carry all of our things (he’s so great that way, forever our sherpa). Once we loaded up the backpack for a bike ride, we’ve never gone back to our diaper bag.  If Herschel made a backpack with a hidden bottle pocket we could have used it from day one (hint hint nudge nudge).
